Late runs secure win versus Swainsboro.

BCHS wrapped up a four-game homestand Tuesday afternoon against Swainsboro. After struggling to hit in the first few innings, the bats would come alive late.

Addison Hill’s first inning single gave BC an early 1-0 lead but the Lady Royals wouldn’t get another hit until her fourth inning triple. Ter’Nazia Elvine’s RBI groundout broke a 1-1 tie.

Swainsboro tied the game in the fifth. Hill’s two-run double was part of a four-run sixth. Bleckley went on to win 6-2. Hill was 3 for 3 with a double, triple, and 3 RBI. Nyra Waters was 1 for 2 with a sac fly.

The Lady Royals travel to East Laurens tomorrow. Game time is 6 pm.
