From BleckleyProgress.com High School Sports The Royals welcomed West Laurens to Cochran Wednesday afternoon. Thanks to shaky Raider pitching and good relief pitching by BC, it was a good day for the purple and gold.
Tied at two in the bottom of the second, Bleckley took advantage of Raider walks to score five times. Braegan Cravey connected on a solo home run (his first in high school) in the bottom of the fifth. That capped an 8-2 BCHS win.
Josh Dillard went five innings, giving up two hits, walking two, and striking out six. Cravey was 1 for 2 with 2 RBI. Walker Boatright went 2 for 3 with an RBI. Brody Fleming went 1 for 2 with an RBI. Raider pitching gave up nine walks.
