Upcoming MGA Arts Festival events on Cochran campus.

The 2024 Arts Festival is ongoing at Middle Georgia State University. This year’s theme is “Reel People,” celebrates the filmmakers, composers, creators, and stories that defy the historical homogeneity of Hollywood. Here are events that will be taking place on the Cochran campus.

April 3- Showing and discussion of the short films “She Does Not Smile” and “An Endoscopy” created by MGA faculty member Zardosht Afshari. 3:30 pm, Georgia Hall.

April 8- Video game trailer hosted by the Honor Student’s Society, 3-8 pm.

April 9-11. Student actors presenting “Moonlight and Magnolias. 7 pm, Russell Hall Auditorium.

April 11- Student Art Exhibition reception and awards. 3 pm, Peacock Gallery inside Russell Hall.

April 15- School of Arts and Letters-hosted second screening of “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.” 6 pm, Walker Hall.
