BCHS sought to stay afloat in the region standings and avenge a previous loss to East Laurens as they hosted the Lady Falcons Tuesday afternoon. However, the Lady Royal offense struggled badly.
EL scored single runs in the first, fourth, and fifth. Bleckley had just one hit and two total baserunners over the first five innings. In the sixth, Zoey Adams doubled with one out. A pair of wild pitches got he to third, then home.
However, the Lady Falcons, aided by two BC errors, scored four times in the fourth and won 7-1. Bleckley had more errors (six) than hits (two).) They play tomorrow at Dodge County, start time 5:30 pm.
