It’s been a frustrating season for BCHS, losing their last three games by a total of eight points. While their streak of close losses ended against Dublin Friday night, their losing streak went to four games.

It was rec. department night at the game. CBRD players, coaches, and cheerleaders got to run out with the team.

Dublin scored on their first possession a 38-yard run, with 7:21 left. Aided by a long completion to Tyrek Mack, the Royals were able to answer via DQ Benjamin’s two-yard run with 5:53 left. But the tie score wouldn’t last a minute.

A 46-yard touchdown run 48 seconds later put Dublin back on top. BC got within 14-10 in the second on Ford Childers’ 38-yard field goal. But the Irish got a nine-yard run with 4:35 left and a touchdown pass in the final minute to take a 28-10 lead at halftime.

Though the Royals got the ball to begin the third, an interception put Dublin near midfield. It resulted in another touchdown as their lead grew to 35-10. Late in the quarter, BC was stopped on fourth and goal from the Dublin three.

The next play saw a Dublin 75-yard run to the Royals 18. It resulted in another touchdown, the PAT was missed. The Irish got another interception and converted it into a score in the fourth. BC finally scored on a Brody Fleming to Nykez Farrow five yard touchdown pass with 4:24 left.

The Future Dazzlers and Future Colorguard performed with the band during halftime.

BC lost 48-17. Senior night will be October 25 versus A.C.E. Senior Night starts at 7 pm, kickoff at 7:30.
