Lady Royals celebrate softball season.

This was a bit of a rebuild year for BCHS softball after losing five seniors to graduation. Though struggling part of the season, BC did enough to make the GHSA state playoffs and was one bad inning away from getting to round two.

Players, coaches, and families got together Monday evening to celebrate the season. Along with letter certificates, all players received sweatshirts. Specific awards were as follows.

Aniyah Taylor was named Most Improved Player. Zoey Adams received the Rising Star award. Cayleigh Francis won the Hustle award. Kaylee Rae Barrs and Emmie Williams were Co-Offensive Players of the Year. Jana Tomlin won the Coaches Award.

Nyra Waters won the Defensive Player of the Year award. Addison Hill was named MVP. The final awards given out were to all region selections (made by region coaches at the end of season meeting.) Zoey Adams, Honorable Mention. Kaylee Rae Barrs, Emmie Williams, Second Team. Nyra Waters, Addison Hill, first team.
