When BCHS and Dublin met earlier in the season, the Lady Royals won big, 13-1. Thursday’s contest in Cochran was much closer but BC found a way to win.

Leading 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Bleckley had runners at second and third with one out, but couldn’t score. Dublin tied the game in the top of the fifth. A three-run bottom of the sixth put the Lady Royals back on top, though they again would miss out on a second and third, one out opportunity.

Dublin got two on in the seventh, but BC worked out of the jam to win 7-4. Lyric Stephens was 3 for 4 with a triple and 3 RBI. Emmie Williams was 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Bleckley travels to Swainsboro tomorrow, game time is 4 pm.
