BC splits games with Telfair.

BCHS took a break from region play, welcoming in Telfair County Saturday afternoon. The Lady Royals won big while the Royal offense again struggled.

BC used a 21-5 run to end the first half, taking a 35-15 lead. Telfair scored just two points in the third quarter. Reserves played the fourth as Bleckley rolled 54-20. Camya Harris scored 18 points. Evian Beck added 10 points.

Heartland EMS was Saturday's game sponsor. Presenting a game jersey to EMS tech Cale Rycroft is boys head coach Garrett Collins.


Despite scoring just five points over the final five plus minutes, the Royals led 27-16 at halftime. The lead grew to 13 in the third but Telfair was within one going to the fourth.

A three with about five minutes left in the fourth gave the Trojans a 39-38 lead. They would go to win 50-44. Patrick Roberts and Marty Beck scored 13 points. Roshan Farrow had 11 points.

Region play resumes December 16 at East Laurens. Girls tip at 6 pm with boys to follow.
