BCHS resumed region play Tuesday afternoon against Washington County. The Royals and Golden Hawks split last year’s series with each team winning at the other’s home field.

| Brody Fleming |
Bleckley trailed 5-4 in the bottom of the fourth, Brody Fleming’s double tied the game. Waco took an 8-5 lead in the sixth thanks to a groundout and two-run home run.
 |
| Walker Boatright |
A dropped fly ball in the home half got BC within one. After a scoreless top of the seventh (only the second inning where the Golden Hawks were held scoreless), BC staged a big rally.
 |
| Thomas Evans |
It began with the first two batters being walked. A throwing error on Casey Finch’s bunt scored the game tying run. The next batter was walked intentionally, the next hit into a fielder’s choice.
 |
| Caleb Foskey |
Gavin Cole came to the plate. He’d already homered in the first inning. On a 3-1 count, Cole blasted a ball over the left field fence for a walk-off grand slam and a 12-8 win for the Royals.
