Easter services and events at local churches.

Several local churches have Easter week services and events beginning with Palm Sunday this Sunday. Here’s a current listing. Your church’s events can be included by emailing BleckleyProgress@aol.com, or bleckleyprogress@gmail.com

March 29.
Christ Chapel Cochran- Palm Sunday services at 9 and 10:30 am. Lunch and Easter egg hunt to follow.
Mt. Calvary Baptist Church- Adult choir musical “Praise is Risen,” 8:30 and 11 am.
Salem Baptist Church- Palm Sunday Family Celebration featuring food, fun, and egg hunt for kids.
Trinity Episcopal Church- Palm Sunday service, 11 am.

Apri 1.
Mt. Calvay Baptist Church Easter egg hunt followed by dinner, 5:30 pm.

April 2.
Limestone Baptist Church- Maudy Thursday service, 6:30 pm.
Trinity Episcopal Church- Agape Meal and Holy Eucharist- 6 pm.

April 3.
Christ Chapel Cochran- Communion at the Cross, 6 pm.
First Baptist Church- Worship in the Round, 7 pm.
Limestone Baptist Church- Good Friday service, 6:30 pm.
Mt. Calvary Baptist Church- Worship in the Round, 6 pm.
Trinity Episcopal Church- Good Friday service, 6 pm.

April 4.
First Baptist Church- Dinner on the Grounds. Church will provide meats, you bring sides or deserts, 11 am.

Limestone Baptist Church- Egg hunt at the church softball field, 10:30 am.
Trinity Episcopal Church- Holy Saturday service 10 am.

Easter Sunday.
Bethany Baptist Church- Sunrise service, 7 am followed by breakfast. Sunday School, 10 am. Choir cantata “Like a Lamb,” 11 am.

Christ Chapel Cochran- Resurrection Sunday services at 7, 9, and 10:30 am.

First Baptist Church- Resurrection Sunday services at 8:30 and 11 am.

Lakeview Baptist Church- Sunrise service at 7 am.

Limestone Baptist Church – Sunrise service at 11 am followed by breakfast. Easter service at 11 am.

Macedonia Baptist Church- Sunrise service at 7 am.

Mt. Calvary Baptist Church- Sunrise service at 7 am followed by youth breakfast fundraiser at 7:30 am. Easter services at 8 and 11:30 am.

Salem Baptist Church- Sunrise service at 6:15 am, followed by breakfast. Easter service at 10:30 am.

Trinity Episcopal Church- Sunrise service, 7 am at the home of Gwen and Randy Young, 268 Murdoch Road in Cochran. Easter Holy Eucharist, 11 am.
