History made as both track teams win state title.

It was a great day for BCHS Track as both the girls and boys teams won the state title yesterday in Athens. The double victory marked the first time in school history both programs won state in the same year. Here are results courtesy mlesplit.com

Girls:
4x200 meter relay, fourth.
4x800 meter relay team, first.
100 meter dash- Lyric Stephens, seventh.
1,600 meter run- Lily Farrell, second. Ella Gibbs, third. Natalie Kitchens, fourth.
4x100 meter relay, first.
800 meter run- Lily Farrell, second. Claira Lynch, third. Natalie Kitchens, fourth.
3200 meter run- Lily Farrell, second. Ella Gibbs, third. Natalie Kitchens, sixth.
4x400 meter relay, fifth.

Boys:
Pole Vault- Greyson Arnold, fifth. William Arnold, sixth.
Triple Jump- Termartez Elvine, second.
4x800 meter relay, first.
4x200 meter relay, fourth.
1600 meter run- Ryder Garrett, first. Brody Gibbs, second. Jack Harrell, fifth.
800 meter run- Ryder Garrett, second. Brody Gibbs, fifth. Elliot Lynch, seventh.
3200 meter run- Harrison Rodgers, first. Brody Gibbs, second. Jack Harrell, fifth.
