The Middle Georgia Motion, a travel fastpitch organization started by Shane Coulter, has both a 10 and under and 12 and under team. Both teams played tournaments in October and November.

Both teams have been preparing for their spring debut. Both have have had player turnover and have had practice time hampered by the recent snow and rain. With just four days practice, both Motion teams made their 2010 debut Saturday at Simpson Park in Warner Robins.

It was a USSSA sanctioned tournament also serving as a fundraiser for a Warner Robins-based team. Tourney format was round-robin with all teams playing four games. The top two played for the title.

Though neither Motion team won Saturday, both put fourth good efforts for their season debuts. That included an extra-inning affair between the 12-under Motion and the Mayhem, who later on played for the championship.

More importantly, the teams got experience. That was a primary reason why the teams entered said Coulter. Both teams will spend the next few weeks practicing and expect to resume play sometime next month.
