Bleckley doubles up Tefalir for second win of the year.

After letting two leads slip away at Peach County Saturday and a rainout Tuesday,BCHS returned to the field against the Telfair County Trojans. The Royals got enough offense and another good pitching performance to pick up their second win of the year.

Bleckley sent nine men to the plate in the first as they scored three times. Telfair tied the score in the third on a bases-clearing double with two outs. Dusty Jones walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third to put the Royals back on top.

Caleb Bryant throws to first.


Cody Jones' two-out single in the fourth pushed the advantage to two. Jacob Byram stole home in the bottom of the sixth. BC won 6-3. Caleb Floyd went all seven innings, striking out eight.

Byram finished 2 for 4 with two doubles and 1 RBI. Ashton Cody was 2 for 4 with a double. Cody Jones was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI.
