Andrew Butler sets to throw from second.

For the second time in three years, BCMS took on West Laurens in the MGMSAA semifinals Thursday. Though the Barons would take an early lead, missed opportunities would prove costly.

Cody Dennis throws to first for the out.

BC got RBI hits from Carter Raffield and Christian Kight in the first and third innings for a 2-0 lead. With two on and no out in the fifth, a Barons player was caught stealing at third. The next player flew out and the runner at second was doubled off.

WL got a run on a passed ball in their half. Bleckley loaded the bases in the sixth with one out but could not score. The Raiders scored three then retired BCMS in the seventh to win 4-1.
