At the March 18 Board of Education meeting, the 2013-14 Bleckley County Teachers of the Year were recognized. To honor our 2013-14 Teachers of the Year, Mr. Jackie Bowen of State Bank of Cochran presented each of the honorees with a monetary award. The Beta Pi Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa provided each with a Teacher of the Year plaque.

Each year, the faculty and staff at each school selects a teacher to receive this prestigious honor. Being the highest honor given by each school, Teacher of the Year is a distinction that signifies an outstanding educator who exemplifies professionalism and garners the respect of his or her colleagues.
