Big inning lifts Royals to win at Dodge County.

Though the Royals have struggled recently with Hawkinsville, they've enjoyed success against Dodge County having won the last three. BC looked to make it four in a row as the two teams faced off in Eastman.

Up early on a Caleb Slaughter home run, the Indians took a 3-1 lead to the third. Bleckley scored three times to forge ahead but Dodge answered with a pair. In the sixth, the bases were loaded with two outs.
Three runs came home on a dropped fly ball. Three more scored as BCHS went ahead 10-5. Thomas Adcock's seventh inning hit capped the Royals fourth straight win in the series 11-5.

Slaughter was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 RBI. Austin Williams was 2 for 2 with a pair of doubles and 1 RBI. Region play resumes Tuesday at home versus Taylor County. Game time is 5:45 pm.
