Lady Royals finish Effingham tournament on high note.

BCHS wrapped up their time at the Effingham pre season tournament on a sticky Wednesday afternoon. They would take advantage of opportunities to close on a good note.

The Lady Royals led Long County 2-1 in the fifth. Three straight walks helped BC's three-run inning which completed a 5-1 win. Elizabeth Mathis was 1 for 2 with a two-run single. Allie Keel was 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Holly Tedders was 1 for 2.

A former region foe ended the day as Bleckley took on Tattnal County team two. Eight first inning walks were part of a 13-run first inning. BCHS cruised 13-1. Hannah Coulter was 2 for 2 with 2 RBI. Chelsea Brady was 2 for 2 with 1 RBI. Jordan Williams went 1 for 2 with 1 RBI.

Hawkinsville will travel to Cochran Friday for a pair of five-inning scrimmages. Game one is at 9 am.
