Chelsea Brady sets to throw to third.

When the Lady Royals regular season begins August 12, they'll be game tested. BCHS has played scrimmage games throughout much of the summer. The team's busy scheduled continued Tuesday at Southern Pines.

Game one was against East Laurens. Aliyah Whitehead's triple was part of a three-run second. Tied at 3 in the fifth, a wild pitch plated the game winner for BC 4-3. Faith Harris, Hannah Coulter, Allie Keel, Jordan Williams, and Chelsea Brady were all 1 for 2.

Against a split squad from West Laurens, Taylor Dykes celebrated her birthday with a third inning two-run double that put Bleckley up 3-0. They would go on to win 3-1. Dykes was 1 for 2 with 2 RBI. Coulter was 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Chrystal Harris was 1 for 2 with a double.

Despite not having a hit until the third inning, four errors from a Mary Persons split squad helped the Lady Royals build a 6-0 lead. They would go on to win 7-3. Coulter was 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Kalee Kitchens and Brady were both 1 for 2.

Faith Harris throws to second to get the lead runner.

BC closes out their scrimmage season August 6 at home versus Dodge County. Game time is 6 pm.
