BCHS welcomed Monticello to Cochran Tuesday afternoon for their regular season home finale. The Lady Royals came in undefeated in region, Monticello had lost once.

Two out hits by Allie Keel and Jordan Williams in the first staked BC to a 2-0 lead. Taylor Dykes and Chelsea Brady had RBI hits in the third to make it 4-0. The Lady Canes scored single runs in the sixth and seventh but Bleckley would hold on to win 4-2.

With the win, they clinched top seed in the upcoming 4-AA playoffs. Holly Tedders was 2 for 3 with a double. Keel went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. Brady was 1 for 2 with an RBI double. Dykes went 1 for 2 with 1 RBI and also struck out eight.

The Lady Royals play at Northeast Thursday. Game time is 5 pm.
