BCMS had their final tuneup before region Saturday in the small middle school division of the Bulldawg Cheer Classic hosted by Mary Persons High School. Bleckley had been steadily improving throughout the season. Even in those cases, sometimes squads have a rough day.

Supporters cheered as they were called to the floor. As the season has progressed, tumbling and other things have been added gradually. Tumbling was sharp, good motions, jumps and energy. The four main stunt groups went up.

But a switchup didn't go. And another stunt fell, resulting in ten points being deducted. Bleckley though would keep going and finish. Their efforts were rewarded with a nice ovation afterwards.

BC came painfully close to winning the lib off. When results came, their trophy streak did continue, getting third place. But the squad's focus turned to getting better for region.

It'll be held November 4 at 5:30 pm. This year's host is JR Trippe Middle School and the competition will be at Vidalia High School.
