Usually when MGMSAA tournament play begins, the Barons and Lady Barons are on the road. This year, Bleckley Middle School was the host. Wedesday night, the seventh-seeded girls opened against third seed Swainsboro.

Alyssa Fortune is fouled on the shot attempt.

Down 11 in the second, BCMS tried to battle back. They drew within 15-8 on Jayla Willis jumper. Swainsboro though scored the half's final four points to again lead by 11. Alyssa Fortune's third quarter basket drew Bleckley within 21-12.

Jayla Willis sunk this jumper to draw Bleckley to within seven.

But the Lady Tigers answered with a 14-4 run. BC would not make a basket in the fourth, their season ended 52-17. The seventh seeded boys open play against thrid seed Dublin Thursday at 7:45 pm in Cochran.
