Girls win as Bleckley splits with Lamar.

BCHS traveled to Barnesville Friday night to take on Lamar County. The Lady Royals were in need of a win, having lost four of their last five. The Royals looked to build on Tuesday's close game at Houston County.

KileyMoe had nine points.

Leading just 34-23 in the third, Alexis Ligon had five straight points as part of a 17-4 run that didn't end until 4:40 left in the fourth. She had 11 in a 60-37 win. Jahnaria Brown also had 11. Fellisia Young scored 10.

Willie Taylor goes in for two.

The Royals were outscored 14-0 to begin both the first and second quarters. Willie Taylor had five points in the final four minutes of the half as a 28-point deficit was down to 38-17 at halftime.

Kevonn Farrow soars to the basket.

Bleckley's offense though scored just ten points in the third. They went on to lose 72-38, their sixth loss by 40 or more points this season. Markell Marshall had nine off the bench.
