Baseball team again bedeviled by Hawkinsville.

Thanks to weather issues, BCHS played their first baseball game in a week when they made the short trip to Hawkinsville Friday night. The Red Devils had won the last six versus Bleckley.

Up 1-0 after three innings, Chandler Abney's bases loaded sac fly made it 2-0. But HHS answered with four runs, two coming with two outs. A two on, two out, opportunity in the sixth produced no runs as the Royals went on to lose 4-2.

Caleb Wynne had half of the team's four hits going 2-3. BC hosts Jeff Davis Tuesday at 5:45 pm. The Fitzgerald home game will be made up April 23 at 6 pm.
