Austin Begeaux slides safely into third.

BCHS had little time to worry about Thursday's loss to Dodge County as the resumed region play versus Crawford County. A win would help in the region standings since the Eagles had beaten Lamar County, the only team in 4-AA with a win versus the Royals.

Wesley Hobbs had a double.

Two in the bottom of the first put Bleckley on top. Austin Bergeaux had an RBI double in the second. Brent Mimbs had an RBI hit in the third. That proved to be enough for Landon Anderson who struck out 12 and worked out of jams such as two on, no out in the seventh.

Zac Evans tracks down a foul pop.

BC won 4-1. Chance Pittman went 2 for 3 with a double. Zac Evans went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. Bleckley plays at Monticello Tuesday. Game time is 5 pm and will be played at Jasper County Middle School.
