Carter Raffield throws to first after a bunt.

Thought it appeared at first the Royals would have to win out to ensure a first round home playoff game, it was learned Thursday evening that because in head to head play versus Lamar County, Bleckley gave up three runs to them, while the Trojans gave up four.

Austin Simmons throws on the move.

That tiebreaker secured BC second place, but the team still wanted to win Friday's region finale versus Crawford County. Chandler Abney's second inning sac fly made it 1-0. The Royals had second and third with one out in the fourth but did not score.

Caleb Wynne makes a stretch at first to get the out.

In the bottom of the fifth, Crawford scored the game tying run on a bases loaded walk. Another walk with the bases loaded and three errors were part of a six-run inning. Despite the first two batters walking in the seventh, BCHS would lose 6-1.

Wesley Hobbs sets to throw from third.

The lone hits came from Landon Anderson and Zac Evans, both 1 for 2. Bleckley closes out the regular season Saturday morning at Jeff Davis. Game time is 11 am.
