Athletes, coaches, and families gathered in the auditorium Thursday to celebrate the season. All received certificates and sheets with their results from the season.

Fellisia Young broke school records in both the long and triple jump at state.

Nine school records were broken during the season. Those who did received paperweights. Ellen Powell received a plaque for winning the 800 meter run for a second straight year.

T'Keyah Pasby finished sixth at state in shot put.

After recognition of the region champions, it was time for MVP's based upon points scored. Fellisia Young was the field MVP. Powell, who also finished fifth in the triple jump at region, was track and field MVP.
