Bleckley Primary School second grade teacher Audrey Hall was named System Teacher of the Year at the end of year convocation held last month. She was named Primary School Teacher of the Year this past January.

Hall graduated from Bethel College in Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree in 2005. She taught third grade at Wakarusa Elementary for six years. During that time, she also received her Masters in Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan in 2009.

Hall was hired at BCPS as a kindergarten paraprofessional in the Fall of 2013. She was also a fifth grade teacher at the 21st Century program.

Hall was hired as a second grade teacher in December of that year. She will begin her second year as Bleckley Middle School assistant cheerleading coach this coming August.

A release states Hall believes students gain knowledge best when they can be actively involved in their learning. She believes students need meaningful learning experiences in order to be truly motivated.
