Big inning swings momentum against 8-u team.

The 8-u baseball team continued state tournament play Saturday in Manchester. For some, these are the final games together before moving to 10-u when fall ball begins. Though some like Gavin Cole (six years old) will be back next year.

Bleckley lost their first game to Albany-American 13-5. Taking on Crawford County that afternoon, BC was down 5-3 after an inning but gave up six runs in the second. They scored single runs in the fourth and fifth but went on to lose 15-5.

Josh Dillard had two hits. Ten other players had one hit. Pool play wraps up Sunday at 2:30 pm versus Swainsboro.
