Middle Georgia State offering Wellness Center memberships.

Middle Georgia State University is opening up the Cochran campus Wellness Center to community memberships. As of July 1, people can purchase an individual membership for $35 or a family membership for $80. Family memberships pertain to children age 10 or older.

The wellness center is located behind Knights Hall near the softball and baseball fields. It features a fitness area, indoor rock wall, basketball court, walking track and aerobics room. Use of the campus outdoor pool is included in community memberships.

To join, individuals must do the following:
1. Complete a membership form.
2. Go to the Bursar's Office inside Grace Hall to pay.
3. Go to the campus police department to obtain an ID and sign various release forms.
