Girls secure playoff top seed in sweep at Northeast.

BCHS wrapped up regular season play Friday at Northeast, looking to sweep the season series. A girls win and they would secure home court for the 4-AA semifinals and finals. The boys learned Friday they'll open region tournament play Tuesday at 5:30 in Lamar County.

Jahnaria Brown scored with 29 seconds left in the first, putting the Lady Royals up six. Kiley Moe had five in the second as part of a 14-5 quarter. Leading 26-11, Bleckley scored just four points in the third but still led 30-19.

Six quick points to begin the fourth secured top seed for BC as they went on to win 47-26. Brown finished with 13 points.

Willie Taylor scored with 13 seconds left in the first to tie things at 13. Despite 12 in the second by Torenio Davis, the Raiders led 31-27. DJ Lemmon connected on three three-point shots in the third as part of a 19-9 quarter.

BC went on to win 73-56. Davis finished with 23. Taylor scored 19 and Lemmon added 14. The regular season wraps up Saturday in Hawkinsville. JV boys tip at 4:15 pm with varsity to follow.
