Bailey Odom picked up the pitching win in relief.

With last year's region pitcher of the year Taylor Dykes battling a wrist injury, the Lady Royals have had to rely on their offense at times this season. Thursday, the bats would again come alive to help BC remain perfect in 3-AA.

Landa Dominy reached base four times.

Three in the bottom of the fifth cut what was a 5-1 deficit to one. After stranding the bases loaded in the third, Bleckley scored five in the fourth to pull ahead. EL scored two with two outs in the fifth. An six-run bottom of the fifth was capped when Riley Edge was hit with the bases loaded to give the Lady Royals a 15-7 win.

The 15 runs marked the fifth time ten or more had been scored this season. Edge was 3 for 4 with a double. Abbey Sims went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI. Jordan Williams was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. Taylor Dykes went 2 for 3 with a triple. Hannah Coulter was 2 for 3 with a double. All nine starters had at least one hit.

Pinch runner Ashlyn Williams scores during the six-run bottom of the fifth.

BCHS plays at FPD Macon Monday. Start time for the game has been moved to 5:30 pm.
