For the second time in five days, the Lady Royals found themselves in a tight game against a team where their offense struggled. Once again, Bleckley would find a way to win.

Bailey Odom tosses to first after a bunt.

Telfair County took a 1-0 lead in the second. BC couldn't capitalize on having two on with no outs in the first, nor a one out single from Jordan Williams in the second. Hannah Coulter doubled to lead off the fourth. Pinch runner Toir Long was sacrificed to third by Landa Dominy. Long came home on Aliyah Whitehead's RBI groundout.

The close game had many fans standing.

A two on, one out, opportunity in the fifth as well as a runner at third with one out in the sixth produced no runs. Tied 1-1 after seven, the game went into international tiebreaker. Telfair scored two in the eighth. BCHS loaded the bases with no outs in the home half.

Faith Harris would get the ball to Jordan Williams on time for the force.

One run came home on a Taylor Dykes single, Coulter's sac fly tied the score. A throwing error to first on a ball hit by Whitehead with two outs gave the Lady Royals a 4-3 win. Dykes was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI. Faith Harris went 2 for 4. BCHS plays at Dublin tomorrow at 5:30 pm.
