BCMS girls tennis wins MGMSAA title.

The BCMS girls tennis team ended regular season region play 4-2 and tied for second with Dodge County and East Laurens. But after losing a three-way coin flip to determine seeding for the MGMSAA tournament at West Laurens, they fell to fourth seed.

That meant a matchup with undefeated top seed West Laurens in round one. BCMS though would upset the Lady Raiders 3-2. Wins came via Fatima El-Jeaid at #2 singles and the #1 doubles team of Kayla Odom and Kat Purser and the #2 doubles team of Breeann Bohannon and Nakiah Watrner.

BC took on second seed East Laurens in the finals. The team avoided a letdown after their semifinals win to defeat the Lady Falcons 3-2, winning the MGMSAA title. Wins came from #2 singles Joni Lumley, #3 singles Fatima El-Jeaid and #1 doubles team of Kayla Odom and Kat Purser.
