A glint of good news, but lots more bad.

On the financial front which affects the website, there has been interest in the farmland. Will it work out? I don't know. I'm praying that something can be worked out so the estate can be settled for everyone's sake.

Of course though, there's bad news, again. Last week, had to have work done on the air conditioner. Thought I'd gotten by cheap, $115 to have the capacitor replaced. But two days later, it went out again.

I endured nearly five days with no air conditioning downstairs and temperatures getting to 90 degrees in order to wait for the person who did the original work to be able to come back (he couldn't come until yesterday.) The capacitor caused the fan motor to burn out.

The bill came out of the HR checking account. The same account that I use to buy gas. One I'll have more need of with school starting back and games resuming. Even with ad renewals, it seems like I can't get ahead.

It's very discouraging. It's frustrating, especially since I do this out of commitment, not for financial gain. One of the reasons why I've asked for your help (and continue to do so) is because I don't make a profit on the site.

It wouldn't be such a big deal if I didn't keep having unplanned things happening again and again. But they do. If you feel led to do so, I would be grateful for any donation you might wish to make.

If not, I ask that you'd pray for me. Pray for strength, and that someone would just buy the land itself so that I can try living life without the current financial restrictions I have.

Thanks for your continued readership and support.
