MGC Lady Warriors coach to host camp.
The Middle Georiga College All-Girls basketball camp will be July 13-17 from 9 am to 1 pm. It will be conducted by Lady Warriors head coach Anderson Ligon. Cost is $89 and includes lunch for four days and a t-shirt. Contact Coach Ligon at 298-2843 or 934-2146 to sign up.

Lots happening at Uchee Trail Country Club.
Several events are upcoming at Uchee Trail Country Club. Saturday, the club will have a July 4 celebration, as well as a parent/child tournament, shootout for both men & women. Plus the Tough Man two-man scramble from the hardest tees & hardest pins locations. Lunch will be served during the day. Call 934-7891 to sign up, cost is $15. July 7 sees the return of of the Tuesday night points game. It begins at 6 pm. Cost is of nine holes plus $5 for prize money. Call the pro shop to sign up. July 8, is Bleckley residents day. Though sports in Bleckley County have slowed down for the summer, there's still action to be found. The 7-8 boys All-Stars are busy preparing for GRPA State July 9-11 Each Tuesday and Thursday night, local churches battle for softball supremacy (in fun of course) at Ruth Baptist and Limestone Baptist.

After the final performance of the summer theatre camp musical "Grease" was held Saturday night, the young actors and actresses were recognized for their talents.
