Reminder of policy regarding rec. baseball/softball.
Just as an FYI, I wanted to remind everyone of my policy regarding the baseball/softball games at the rec. department. I do not cover them as there are far too many teams/leagues, and simply don't have the time to be fair to all teams. Coverage will begin during All-Star season. However, I will cover a game, photograph a team or player if I am specifically requested to do so. Thanks for reading.

BleckleyProgress.com and gasports.com working together.
As some of you are aware, work from BleckleyProgress.com is being syndicated on gasports.com as we are now media partners. Recently, I have been given reporter access to gasports.com What does that mean? I can add and update the schedule, results, and information for any BCHS team. I ask you to be patient as I am still learning the new site and adjusting to the new responsibilities.

How can we serve you better?
BleckleyProgress.com is here to serve the community. We do that by coverage of local sports and community news, as well as the classfied section. Other services offered include (for a nominal fee) the transfer of VCR tapes to DVD. We would like to know if you'd be interested in a new service. Being able to transfer old records and cassette tapes to cd. For a nominal fee, your 33, 45, or 78 RPM records as well as cassettes could be burned onto cd-r's which could be played in most cd players.
