Summer league and scrimmage news.
BCHS baseball's final summer league game against Swainsboro Thursday was canceled due to rain. The Lady Royals softball team had a scrimmage doubleheader versus Telfair County last week. Bleckley split the twinbill, winning 1-0 and losing 5-4.

On Monday night, the BCHS baseball team held their post-season awards banquet at the First Baptist Church Social Hall. Both the JV and varsity players received certificates, and varsity players got patches for their playoff run to the sweet 16 this year. Three awards were presented. Chase Raffield won the best offensive player trophy. Dylan Floyd won the award for best defensive player. Tucker Darsey took home the MVP trophy. Floyd and Darsey also received patches for being named to the All-Region team.

Bleckley well-represented in tennis, track All-Middle GA selections.
In the recent All-Middle Georgia team selections by the Macon Telegraph, both the tennis and track teams were well-represented.
