Corrections, Homecoming pics will be for sale, and other site news.

When I did the article earlier in the week about the King's Court, I forgot about COVID-19, the split schedule at BCHS, etc. Too much on my mind I guess.

What I'm saying is I was more than likely wrong on how the King's Court will be presented. For that, I'm sorry.

I also wanted to apologize for the poor job I did in typing up a copy of the BCHS football schedule to post. The Washington County and Southwest games both had the wrong dates. (Northeast date may've changed.)

In any event, I'm sorry the schedule was so poorly done. I strive to provide accurate information, and don't like mistakes.

As per usual, there will be a Homecoming section on the site. Pictures will be for sale. I'll save them for a week. Email BleckleyProgress@aol.com, or call (478)230-6556 for more info.

Speaking of things financial, my financial (and the site's) situation still isn't good. It's been a tough year. Replacing the radiator on my car, buying tires, air conditioner repair, plus having to replace a DSLR camera I use for football.

I have limited personal income, lots of credit card debt (a lot of it came from taking care of Patches the dog), and more expenses including the light and phone bill each month.

I'm trying my best to keep up the site. Covered the game at Monticello despite the cost because I know how much football means to many of you, plus the Royals are having a historically great year.

But being honest, I need your help. The Whitaker HR Solutions checking account that funds the site is below $2,000. There are many ways you can do it. Want to wish someone a happy birthday? Congratulate your favorite senior? Advertise your company is hiring or another business event?

Buy a special announcement. Just $15 for the section, it can be pinned to the top of the site for two weeks for just $30. Got VCR tapes you want to preserve? I can transfer them to DVD for just $10 a tape.

There are also ways you can donate. PayPal- BleckleyProgress@aol.com (or via the donate button on the left hand corner of the site.) You can send money via Venmo: https://venmo.com/Dave-Whitaker-7 Or donate to my GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/dqqc7-help-dave-and-bleckley-progress

I'm going to keep doing what I do regardless. But anything you do to help me helps me help you by being able to keep doing what I do.

Whatever the case, please know your readership and support is appreciated.
