The playoffs provide something BCHS desperately needed as they welcomed Bacon County for a first round matchup Monday afternoon. A new start. After two straight bad games to end the regular season, the Lady Royals sought to get back on track.

Jordyn Krieg scored the game-tying run in the sixth inning of game one.

Trinity Glover’s grand slam capped a six-run second inning. Bacon fought back and was within 6-4 in the fourth. Glover struck again in the home half, this time a two-run shot.
