Jordyn Krieg goes in head first to score.

Maybe it was the short turnaround from Monday. Maybe BC just wasn’t in sync during game one. Whatever the case, after failing on multiple scoring opportunities in game one against Cook High School, the Lady Royal offense came alive in game two.

Reagan Wimberly's RBI single helped spur the five-run sixth in game two.

Clara Rickerson’s RBI single broke a 1-1 tie in the second, but Bleckley left the bases loaded. Down 3-2 in the fifth, E’lisia Vickers singled with one out but was left stranded at second base. Addisyn Keel walked with one out in the sixth but was called out trying to steal second.

Darci Dillard sets to throw from short.

A two on, one out opportunity in the seventh produced no runs as BCHS lost 3-2. Eight runners were stranded. Rickerson finished 3 for 4. Keel was 1 for 2.

Trinity Glover receives the ball.

In game two, Rebecca Bowling’s third inning sac fly made it 4-0. She and Keel had back to back RBI doubles in the fourth. In the fifth, it was a different kind of back to back.

Addisyn Keel was the pitching winner in game two.

Rickerson hit a two-run home run. Vickers followed with a solo shot, making it 9-1. Five more in the sixth would prove to be enough as Bleckley won 14-4. Vickers was 3 for 5 with a pair of doubles and 2 RBI. Bowling went 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles and 3 RBI.

E'lisia Vickers goes around the bases after hitting a solo home run in the fifth inning of game two.

Keel was 3 for 3 with two doubles and 1 RBI. Trinity Glover was 2 for 5 with a double. Reagan Wimberly was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI. Riley Haley went 2 for 4. Game three between the Lady Royals and Lady Hornets will be tomorrow in Cochran at 1 pm.
