News from Bleckley Elementary.

This week, Bleckley Elementary held induction ceremonies for 15 new students into the Beta Club. Each student maintained an A average over the first nine weeks. You can watch the ceremony here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piafUUqHrZc&t=1s

On November 18, the grade-level spelling bee was held featuring the winners from the fourth and fifth grade homeroom spelling bees. Fourth grade contestants were: Haley Arnold, Elliot Lynch, Brayden Hill, Bryna Mullis, Andi Lynn Bradley, Raeya Dominy, Dylan Lamb, Emily Hataway, Ryan Law, Lily Smith, Kaziyah Girtman, Rebecca Pudleiner, JJ Stephens, Walker Bryant, Ashanti Flagg, Vada Bloodworth, and Olivia Owens.

Fifth grade contestants: Presley Daniel, Joshua Knox, Gavin Baublitz, Jake Nowell, Za'Cari Beck, Le'Corian Porter, Brody Cape, Maurteriah Farrow, Darius Walker, Layla Mitchell, Tryston Stanley, Evangeline Kelley, Emma Watkins, Braden Chambers, Bryson Hancock, Ansley Miller, Demarcus Williams, and Kaylee Long.

First and second place winners will compete at the district spelling bee on January 14 at Bleckley County Middle School. The third place finishers will serve as alternates.
