With COVID issues cancelling this year’s Bear Brawl, both the Lady Royals and Royals have had to seek out separate games. Monday night, the Royals were in Dublin to take on Trinity Christian.

Ja"Mareon Beck scored despite the defense.

The Crusaders are led by former Dublin head coach Paul Williams. Williams brought his up tempo offense and pressing defense to the Crusaders. BC struggled to make shots and keep up with TC. Down 20-8 after one quarter, the deficit grew to 18 at halftime.

Players fight for the ball.

Trinity led by as many as 24 points in the third quarter, 27 in the fourth. A late flurry made the final score 69-48. The Royals were also 0 of 7 from the free throw line. Kaland Butler had 10 points.

Wednesday’s girls game at Westside has been cancelled. The boys game is still on, tip time 1 pm.
