BCHS Cheerleaders hosting first competition Saturday.

Family and fans of the BCMS and BCHS Competition Cheerleaders are usually on the road Saturdays driving to different places to support the squad. But this Saturday, they'll get to be at home.

For the first time ever, BCHS will host a regular season competition. It's called "Battle at the Kingdom" and will be held in the current BCMS gym.

The first session (middle school) begins at 10 am. Four schools will be competing. Johnson County (10:01), Bleckley County (10:07), Dodge County (10:20), and East Laurens (10:25)

High school session one starts at 11:30 Competing will be Dublin (11:31), Johnson County (11:37), Perry (11:50), and Warner Robins (11:56.)

High school session two begins at 1 pm. It will have Houston County (1:01), Dodge County (1:07), East Laurens at 1:20, Monticello at 1:26, and finally BCHS at 1:32. The Royals will be competing for scores only.

Start times are approximate. Doors will open approximately 45 minutes before each session. GHSA and press passes will be honored with appropriate identification. Those with passes should enter the door marked "GHSA/Media Passes ONLY."

Tickets for each session are $8. The gym will be cleared of spectators after every session. No tickets will be sold at the door. Here are the gofan.co links for each session.
