I left the house Saturday morning a little after 9 to be at the cheerleading competition. I was feeling ok after almost being sick Friday. But was still sleepy.
Made the mistake of forgetting a lens I use for my camera. Used a larger than needed lens for the middle school session. My Sony camera took trophy pictures. Because I had plenty of space on the disk, didn't think about getting a spare lens out of my other camera bag in the car.
However, while filming other squads, I dropped my Sony camera. Apparently, I didn't notice the memory card had gotten dislodged. Discovered late Saturday the battery door was messed up.
And the card was loose. When I put it in the computer tonight, noticed there were no pictures of the high school squad. So the only thing I can do is try to pull some screen grabs from the competition video.
Fact is though, I'm way too tired to do it tonight. Will have to work on it sometime tomorrow. Needless to say, I made a mess of things.
And I'm truly sorry.
