The Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce named Rusty Lloyd as their new president and CEO. Lloyd, the past chair of the Chamber Board of Directors, will assume the role February 23.

In a release, current board chair Dr. Michael Stoy cited Lloyd’s “extensive experience through ever increasing responsibilities during his past 6 years on the chamber board,” as well as “his ambitious vision and ongoing work to strengthen the Cochran Bleckley Chamber of Commerce” as reasons why he was the “resounding choice” to lead.

Lloyd said he looked forward to leading the Chamber’s recovery from COVID-19 impacts saying, “I am humbled to now be leading the Cochran Bleckley Chamber of Commerce as it embarks on a historic path of recovery from COVID-19, hopeful for growth and prosperity for our members and businesses that make-up this great community. I cannot wait to get started and commit to bringing all of my energies, creativity, and business development experience to the job every day.”
