The sectionals track meet for regions 1-4 AA was held Saturday at East Laurens. Those finishing in the top eight in their events qualified for the state meet that will be held at McEachern High School May 13-15 in Marietta.
Here are the athletes from BCHS who qualified.
Girls.
Tristen Crosby: 3200, 1600, 800, 4x4, 4x8 alternate.
Piper Simpson: 1600, 800, 4x4, 4x8.
Emily Youngblood: 1600, 800, 4x4, 4x8.
Johna Bowen: 3200, 4x4, 4x8.
Mai Lei Long: 3200, 4x8, 4x4 alternate.
Juliet Cairney: 4x8, 4x4 alternate.
Lauren Kitchens: 4x8, 4x4 alternate.
Boys.
Wesley Daniel: Discus.
Caden Maxwell: Pole Vault.
Jackson Paulk: Pole Vault.
Luke Churchwell: 3200, 1600, 800, 4x8.
Kson Jones: 3200, 1600, 4x8.
Brian Giberson: 4x8.
Jesse Kuck: 4x8.
Trent Crosby: 4x8 alternate.
