Bleckley County 4-H’ers attended Junior/Senior DPA’s (District Project Achievements) June 1 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton. In all, 31 members participated. Each were required to turn in a three to five page document of their project/leadership/community service work in 2020 as well as present a speech, prepare a meal or share a talent depending on their project category.
Of the 31 participants, 26 placed in the top three of their category. Nine senior 4-H’ers will be advancing to State Congress in July.
They are: Sydney Bass (Food Safety and Preservation), Lydia Belflower (General Recreation), Lauren Coley(Performing Arts General), McKenna Edwards (Photography and Videography), Mary Carol Kletcke (Food Lab: Dairy Foods), Veronica Lee (Food Lab: Festive Foods for Health), Chloe Mullis (Performing Arts Vocal), Evan Powell (Wildlife and Marine Science), Lucy Wiegert (Sports.)

Two members were also elected 2021-2022 Southeast 4-H Senior Board of Director. Lydia Belflower, (President) and Lucy Wiegert.
