It was the first of three straight games for BCMS as they welcomed J.R. Trippe to Cochran. While the game was close early on, things took a bad turn in the fifth.

Down 2-1 in the fourth, Emma Wilson got a bunt single. Throwing errors allowed her to get to third, she then beat the throw home, tying the game. But the Lady Chiefs scored six in the fifth and another in the sixth.

BC got single runs in the sixth and seventh but lost 12-4. Jada Davis was 3 for 4 with a double. Emmie Williams went 2 fo4 3. The Lady Barons play Pulaski County Middle School tomorrow at the Hawkinsville Rec. Department. Start time is 4:30 pm.
