After a second rainout this week, BCHS finally got to complete their season series against the Jasper County (Monticello) Lady Canes. The Lady Royals had little trouble in their regular season finale.

Leading 2-1 in the third, BC took advantage of bases loaded walks in scoring four times. Leading 9-1 in the fifth, Jasper loaded the bases with one out. But a pickoff at third base and diving catch by Riley Haley secured BC’s 9-1 win.
Riley Haley also had this off-balance catch.
Keel was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI. Darci Dillard went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI. Riley Haley went 2 for 3. Kenna Bowman was 1 for 2 with a double. Jordyn Krieg was 1 for 2 with 1 RBI.

Bleckley opens the playoffs October 12 versus Fitzgerald. Games are 4 and 6 pm. The *if* game would be October 13 at 5:30.
