Special BCMS cheer season celebrated.

It was another great season for the BCMS competition cheer squad.. They finished first in all three regular season competitions, then edged West Laurens for a second straight MGMSAA title.

The season was celebrated Monday night at Traditions. A covered dish dinner and slideshow was followed by the awards presentation. After presenting letter certificates, specific awards were as follows. All were voted on by the squad.

Most Improved- Kinley Smith. Most Dedicated- Emmy Kay Williams. Best Entertainer- Jessie Dennis. Leadership Award- Jasey Warren. Most Valuable Player (Cheerleader) Capri Faulk. Cheerleader of the Year- Anna Claire Dean.

Eighth graders received special gifts, with head coach Chara Nobles noting it was her first class when she began middle school coaching. Squad members also received special jerseys in celebration of them winning region as well as season DVD’s.
